What is Bridal Boudoir?
Bridal boudoir is a photography experience for any woman who wishes to celebrate herself and sexuality while creating the perfect gift for her partner. Imagine the power these images will have in 20, 30 years time when you can look back at these memories and see just how beautiful you were at this stage of your life.
Here are a few bridal-inspired boudoir wardrobe ideas to help you get started:
A lot of my clients buy in bulk from Shein as it’s a fraction of the cost of buying a couple of outfits online, lingerie shopping can be expensive!
You could purchase something like this.
Things to pack for your bridal boudoir photoshoot
- Veil
- Partners shirt
- Sentimental jewellery
- White lingerie
- Bridal robe, you’ll see in these photos Rosie is wearing a beautiful white robe, it makes the photos look so romantic. Beautiful for an added layer of texture and movement.
- If your partner gifted you a special item of jewellery make sure to wear it on the day.
- Bunch of fresh red or white roses are beautiful as a prop.
*Remember to cut off all the tags and try on all your outfits, we only want to work with outfits that fit your body.
Time to boost your self-confidence
A boudoir shoot is a great way to boost your self-confidence before your wedding. I think one of the most important reasons to organise a boudoir session is simply so you know you are enough…as you are right now, it will empower you to feel more confident in your own skin. It will make you more comfortable in front of the camera preparing you for your wedding day too.
When should I schedule my bridal photoshoot?
At least 2-3 months before the photoshoot, this allows time for your photos to be edited and any products ordered.
Should I have my hair and makeup done?
Yes for the best results, we can organise that for you.
